You've told us there is a problem - Now we need your help to tackle it!

Our local Neighbourhood Policing Team regularly hears from residents about concerns in their communities. Often, however, these concerns are shared with us informally and are not formally reported.

When we receive information about a problem, we can use Community Contact Reports and Street Surveys to build a better picture of what is happening. This may involve speaking with residents directly or providing confidential surveys with prepaid envelopes so that people can tell us about their concerns.

Recently, Street Surveys have been delivered in several areas of Cheadle and the surrounding communities where residents have told us there are issues. Unfortunately, we have received very few responses.

If you have received a Street Survey, please take a few minutes to complete and return it. The information you provide can help us build the evidence and intelligence needed to consider further action, including the use of police powers where appropriate.

We rely on our communities to tell us what is happening. If we don’t receive the information, it can be much harder for us to build the evidence needed to tackle the problems you have told us about.
